Deputy Executive Director Operations
Veterans' House Canada
Lead national operations for Veterans' House Canada in Ottawa, combining strategic planning and business administration with in-person and hybrid work options.
As Deputy Executive Director, you will support the Executive Director while helping guide VHC’s expansion across Canada. The position covers business planning, budget management, human resources, staff coordination, and national office operations. You will also support local Operations Managers and workplace safety programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Support business planning and budget management for VHC operations
Contribute to development of the strategic plan
Coordinate national staff calendars, events, and operational support
Supervise national office operations and Office Operations Coordinator
Support local Operations Managers across VHC locations
Requirements:
Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and experience
Five years of proven success in operations management
Experience with MS Office and Google Workspace
Willingness to learn platforms such as Salesforce
Bring operations management, strategic planning, and coordination expertise to Veterans' House Canada's national expansion efforts.
