Transaction Tax Manager Calgary
BDO Canada LLP
Lead transaction tax advisory in Calgary with BDO Canada, applying tax due diligence and structuring expertise across complex transactions. Work with clients, deal teams, and legal counsel through a blended work model.
As Manager, you will support BDO Canada’s growing Transaction Tax Services team. Your work will span buy-side and sell-side due diligence, tax modelling, purchase and sale agreements, and post-closing matters. You will help deliver practical, value-added solutions while supporting practice growth across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements
Analyze tax issues and design tax-efficient transaction structures
Prepare technical deliverables outlining tax analysis and implications
Manage, mentor, and develop engagement team members
Support private equity business development initiatives
Requirements:
Completed CPA designation or LLB
Master of Taxation or CPA Canada In-depth Tax completion
At least five years in professional services, specializing in Tax
Experience identifying issues, developing solutions, and managing expectations
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
