Staff Product Designer AI Systems
Design Better
Shape Samsara’s Connected Operations Cloud remotely in Canada through product design, AI tools, and interaction systems for web and mobile products.
As a Staff Product Designer, you will set vision across multiple product areas and ship work shaping customer and internal operations. You will partner with Product and Engineering leaders, engage strategic customers, and define patterns other designers build upon. The work spans problem framing, launch, iteration, and production code across design systems, web products, and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead ambiguous initiatives across multiple product areas
Set interaction patterns and visual systems
Engage strategic customers in product decisions
Use AI tools throughout the design process
Ship code across systems, web, and mobile
Requirements:
10+ years designing user experiences for web and mobile
Portfolio showing quantified impact across product areas
Deep interaction and visual design skills
Shipped work using regular AI design tools
Experience mentoring designers and partnering with senior leadership
Bring systems thinking, customer engagement, AI practice, and design leadership to Samsara’s remote Canadian product team.
