Environmental Services Housekeeping Attendant

Support cleanliness at North Bay Regional Health Centre using housekeeping equipment, physical stamina, and careful environmental services practices. Scheduled shifts and call-ins are required.
This Environmental Services Attendant works within the Environmental Services Department. The position involves cleaning physical environments, operating housekeeping equipment, and responding to Codes Red, White, and others. Candidates need Grade 12 or equivalent, safety commitment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean the physical environment throughout assigned areas
Operate automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, and steam cleaners
Respond to all required emergency codes
Push and pull housekeeping carts during work
Support safety and prevention of adverse health events
Requirements:
Grade 12 graduation or equivalent
Ability to lift 18 kilograms and climb ladders
Ability to walk, bend, twist, push, and pull frequently
Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Availability for scheduled shifts and call-ins
Bring dependable environmental cleaning, equipment operation, and safety practices to North Bay Regional Health Centre’s Environmental Services Department.
