Prepare branded café meals at Irving Oil’s Home Office in Saint John, New Brunswick, using strong line work and food production skills.
As a daytime Café Cook, you will create a positive employee experience through reliable food preparation and café operations. You will prepare meats, fish, vegetables, soups, sandwiches, salads, and hot grill products. The position also includes menu input, inventory control, cleaning, and vacation coverage at the Refinery Café.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion food products before cooking
Cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, sandwiches, and grill products
Maintain sanitary preparation, serving, and kitchen areas
Monitor temperatures, freshness, stock rotation, and station supplies
Assist menu planning, closing procedures, and Refinery Café coverage
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency
Three to five years’ food service cooking experience
Strong line work, preparation, and production experience
Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking skills
Strong communication skills and friendly, energetic attitude
Bring dependable cooking, preparation, organization, and communication skills to Irving Oil’s daytime Café team in Saint John.
