Bakery Operations Team Leader
Co-op
Lead bakery operations onsite in La Ronge with inventory management, production planning, and customer-focused team leadership at Lake Country Co-op.
As Bakery Team Leader, you will supervise team members and support a department generating $1.4 million in sales. You will oversee baked goods production, guide merchandising standards, and contribute to sales, service, and member experience. The position reports to the Food Store Team Leader and supports operational plans and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, coach, and lead a high-performance bakery team
Oversee daily production of breads, cakes, pastries, and baked goods
Manage inventory accurately while minimizing loss
Maintain presentation, stocking, and rotation standards
Champion food safety, asset protection, and safety systems
Requirements:
Five-plus years in bakery or food service operations
Two-plus years in supervisory or leadership experience
Experience with baking equipment, recipes, and production planning
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
Strong financial, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
