As a casual Resident Attendant, you will follow supervisor-directed care plans, assist with daily living, and support residents and families. The position requires personal care knowledge, communication, organization, and sound time management.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow resident care plans under supervisor direction
Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily living
Support ambulation, transfers, mobility, and adaptive aids
Observe and report changes in resident condition
Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support
Requirements:
Graduate of a Personal Support Worker program
Experience working with seniors in community health services
Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and customer focus skills
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
Ability to lift and transfer clients; Vulnerable Sector Check required
