Tree Crew Labourer Equipment Operator

Operate and maintain tools as a full-time Labourer with Wright Tree Service of Canada, helping arborists manage brush, logs, and equipment.
This Labourer position reports to an Arborist CUA or Crew Lead within Wright Tree Service of Canada. The work combines truck loading, woodchipper feeding, equipment preparation, debris removal, and safety-area setup. Hands-on arboriculture training supports learning from team members and independent development.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare tools and equipment for arborists
Load trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris
Unload materials and feed brush into woodchippers
Keep worksites clean by removing fallen tree debris
Maintain barriers and signs for crew and public safety
Requirements:
Proficiency operating and maintaining tools and equipment
Valid Class 5 driver's license with fewer than six demerits
Ability to work safely in noisy environments using PPE
Strong time management and willingness to learn
Availability for long hours, overtime, and emergency on-call rotations
Apply equipment skills, time management, and safe work practices while supporting arborists in demanding tree-service operations.
