In this Pharmacy Assistant position, you assist the Pharmacist across technical, administrative, and operational pharmacy activities. You will process prescriptions, maintain patient profiles, prepare products for checking, manage supplies, and help deliver customer service. Over-the-counter operations and cashier duties may also be assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Process written prescriptions, refills, patient profiles, and pricing
Select, count, measure, label, and organize prescription products
Maintain stock levels and order pharmacy drugs and supplies
Check, price, and put away pharmacy orders
Perform filing, reporting, housekeeping, and assigned cashier duties
Requirements:
Minimum age of 16 years
Ability to complete seven point, visual, and DIN checks
Ability to follow Pharmacist supervision and required approvals
Ability to maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces
Ability to support administrative functions as assigned
Bring prescription preparation, pharmacy inventory, computer processing, and administrative skills to Walmart Canada’s Hanover pharmacy operations.
