Own technical SEO for Blacksmith Agency remotely from Canada, South Africa, or the USA, using audits, site architecture, and search strategy.
As a Senior SEO Specialist, you lead search for B2B and growing-brand clients. You set technical roadmaps, content priorities, and ranking narratives. This full-time position focuses exclusively on search, while paid media has a separate strategist. You make strategic calls directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and architecture
Set keyword strategy and on-page optimization priorities
Guide content priorities with writers and AI
Improve visibility across organic and AI search
Report through GA4 and Search Console
Requirements:
Three or more years of hands-on SEO experience
Experience running audits and implementing fixes personally
Fluency with Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog
Experience using Ahrefs or Semrush
Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
