As SEO Strategist, Roofing at Blacksmith Agency, you lead search for roofing contractors across several markets. You set technical roadmaps, guide keyword strategy, and explain ranking movement to clients. Writers and AI produce drafts while you make strategic calls.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and architecture
Set keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and content priorities
Improve visibility in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity
Direct links, local search, and multi-location SEO
Report through GA4 and Search Console; maintain quarterly roadmaps
Requirements:
Three or more years of hands-on SEO experience
Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
Clear spoken English for live calls with United States clients
Roofing or similar multi-location SEO experience strongly preferred
Bring hands-on technical SEO, reporting, and roofing search expertise to Blacksmith Agency’s client strategy work.
