Packaging Equipment Engineering Co-op
Lindt & Sprüngli
Design packaging components and tooling with SolidWorks as a Supply Chain Engineering Co-op at Lindt & Sprüngli in Mississauga, Ontario. Work on equipment projects during Winter and Summer 2027.
This placement supports engineering activities across packaging equipment and production processes. The co-op student will design custom parts, coordinate fabrication, perform time studies, and help investigate equipment issues. The position also involves maintenance documentation and collaboration with supply chain and cross-functional partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Design custom components and tooling dies in SolidWorks
Coordinate fabrication through third-party vendors and FDM printing
Support capital equipment procurement and commissioning projects
Conduct root cause analysis for packaging equipment problems
Collaborate on process improvements with supply chain partners
Requirements:
Engineering degree currently in progress
Experience with CAD software and drafting considered an asset
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required
Ability to articulate ideas clearly and communicate effectively
Self-starter with a strong drive and positive attitude
Use CAD design, fabrication coordination, and troubleshooting skills to support Lindt & Sprüngli packaging engineering projects.
