Indoor Recreation Programs Supervisor

Lead indoor recreation programs at Strathcona County using strategic planning, team supervision, and community engagement across diverse service areas.
This temporary full-time Supervisor oversees aquatics, sport and leisure, inclusion, education, play, and wellness programs. You will guide program teams, support change management, and address evolving community needs. The position coordinates service delivery across multiple indoor recreation facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and lead teams delivering high-quality recreation programs
Supervise program activities across indoor recreation facilities
Support registration processes and program preparedness
Coordinate systems, procedures, and implementation across facilities
Assess community needs and develop recreation programs
Requirements:
Degree with two years related experience, or diploma with four years
Minimum three years in a supervisory capacity
Current Standard First Aid, CPR-HCP, and WHMIS
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Valid Alberta Class 5 licence and satisfactory criminal record check
