Preventive dental care leads this full-time Dental Hygienist opportunity at Collingwood Dental Centre, focused on assessment, scaling, and patient education.
This one-year term position suits a collaborative professional committed to strong patient relationships and positive dental experiences. You will deliver clinical preventive hygiene services, tailor care to patient expectations, and promote oral health. The scheduled hours include afternoons, evenings, and daytime shifts from Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care services
Perform scaling, root planing, polishing, and topical fluoride
Apply pit and fissure sealants and provide whitening
Introduce preventive techniques and counsel patients on oral health
Deliver tailored experiences while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
Requirements:
Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree completion
Current provincial registration in good standing
Valid CPR certification
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Bring preventive hygiene expertise, patient education, and relationship-building skills to Collingwood Dental Centre’s patient-centred practice.
