Transportation Operations Supervisor

Lead transportation operations through workforce scheduling and safety-focused dispatch oversight. Support a dedicated McDonald's distributorship from an assigned distribution centre.
This Transportation Operations Supervisor directs daily manpower, equipment planning, and dispatch activities. The position maintains delivery schedules, interprets the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and supports safety, service, productivity, and cost efficiency. It also provides technical direction and leadership to Transportation Department employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan manpower and equipment requirements while minimizing overtime
Conduct shift meetings covering safety and operational communications
Assign driver duties supporting safety, service, and productivity
Maintain master delivery schedules and route information
Investigate injuries, near misses, and collisions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, logistics, or related field
Three to five years' relevant experience ideally preferred
One to three years' progressively responsible supervisory experience
Strong MS Office and computer software skills
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
