In this position, you'll review and assess applications while ensuring compliance with designated standards. Your role is crucial in providing timely underwriting decisions and maintaining risk management. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential to work with both agents and clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate risk through personal lines application review
• Underwrite policies and set appropriate terms
• Provide clear communication on underwriting decisions
• Process policies accurately and keep them updated
• Stay informed on best practices and industry regulations
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in personal lines underwriting
• Strong knowledge of insurance products like home and auto
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Preferred experience with underwriting software
• Must be able to work independently in a remote role
