Highway Maintenance Student Operator

Support Ledcor Highways winter and summer operations as a Student Operator while completing paid Class 3 license training. Work close to home and help keep highways safe.
This entry-level training opportunity develops the skills necessary for safe, competent winter plow operation. Selected applicants upgrade from Class 5 to Class 3 through a fully funded program. The opportunity may lead to seasonal or full-time employment within Ledcor.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in fully funded Class 3 license upgrade training
Help acquire the Class 3 driver license
Develop skills for winter plow operations
Support highway maintenance across winter and summer operations
Commit to required shift, on-call, and night work
Requirements:

Minimum age of 18 years
Unrestricted Class 5 license with clean driver abstract
Ability to pass Alberta medical examination
Ability to pass required vision screening examination
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Bring safety focus, quality commitment, and Class 5 driving eligibility to Ledcor’s highway maintenance training pathway.
