Assurance Accounting Accountant Terrace

Apply accounting knowledge with MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team as an Accountant starting September 2027 in Terrace. Use financial reporting skills daily.
This Accountant role supports MNP clients within an evolving business and financial reporting landscape. You will develop skills across compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax. The position also applies IFRS, GAAP, and ASPE knowledge while preparing financial information for client decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop technical skills across assurance, bookkeeping, and tax
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reports
Review and correct discrepancies in financial entries and documents
Manage client files and conduct inventory counts
Collaborate with engagement teams and client contacts
Requirements:
Commerce or business administration degree completed or underway
Accounting or finance major preferred
CPA Professional Education Program prerequisites completed or underway
Previous accounting office experience considered an asset
Accounting and tax software experience considered an asset
Build assurance, accounting, and client service experience with MNP while developing practical financial reporting expertise in Terrace.
