Chartwell Resident Transportation Driver
Chartwell Retirement Residences
Drive safely for Chartwell while transporting residents, staff, and volunteers to appointments, errands, outings, and events. Support passengers with care and professionalism.
As a Driver, you will operate the residence vehicle and help keep the community connected. Your work includes assisting wheelchair users, chaperoning outings, and communicating courteously. You will also maintain vehicle safety, cleanliness, and readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport residents, staff, and volunteers to scheduled destinations
Assist passengers boarding, exiting, and securing their seats
Chaperone residents during outings when required
Complete vehicle maintenance and safety checks
Keep the bus clean inside and outside
Requirements:
Secondary school education or equivalent
Previous driving experience and required license
First Aid Certificate, with training available if needed
Clear driving record and criminal background check
Ability to work flexibly and assist passengers physically
Bring safe driving, passenger care, communication, and vehicle maintenance skills to Chartwell’s resident transportation services.
