Housekeeping and Laundry Manager

Lead housekeeping operations through staff supervision, training, and inspections while maintaining strong infection control and workplace safety standards.
As Manager Housekeeping and Laundry, you will oversee assigned housekeeping employees and ensure procedures meet unit standards. The position includes personnel management, department coordination, audits, payroll administration, and daily operational organization. You will support cleanliness, service quality, and compliance with Compass Standards, client contracts, and applicable union agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and inspect assigned housekeeping staff
Coordinate infection control and occupational health and safety activities
Conduct cleaning procedure audits and document results electronically
Prepare assignment sheets and communicate shift changes
Complete payroll requirements and coordinate staff coverage
Requirements:
At least two years of housekeeping supervisory experience
Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and laundry management
Strong infection control and health and safety knowledge
Excellent administrative, organizational, and prioritization skills
Excellent computer and communication skills
