This Field Service Technician position focuses on underground service work for mechanical and electrical aspects of mining equipment. You will inspect equipment, troubleshoot issues, repair components, and test performance according to defined specifications. The role also includes commissioning new equipment and training at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect equipment and determine faults and malfunctions
Repair or replace defective components and systems
Test repaired equipment for operational performance
Commission new equipment at customer sites
Complete technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists
Requirements:

Relevant trade certification; Red Seal considered an asset
At least three years related mining equipment experience considered an asset
Read hydraulic and electrical schematics proficiently
Diagnose electrical and mechanical mining equipment issues
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
Use mechanical troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, and equipment repair skills supporting Sandvik Mining customers across required mine sites.
