Apply electrical troubleshooting and repair expertise as a Red Seal Electrician serving mining equipment across Saskatchewan and surrounding areas. Work a schedule that varies, typically a 14-14 rotation.
Sandvik’s Red Seal Electrician maintains mechanical and electrical aspects of surface and underground mining equipment. The work includes Automation equipment, commissioning, customer-site training, and preventive repairs. You will read hydraulic and electrical schematics, diagnose equipment issues, and complete maintenance reports. This customer-facing position requires travel to local mine sites and across Canada as required.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and service Automation equipment
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mining equipment components
Commission Automation products at customer sites
Conduct root cause analysis for common problems
Coach customer technicians on servicing and maintenance principles
Requirements:

Red Seal or relevant trade certification
At least three years related heavy equipment experience
Read hydraulic and electrical schematics proficiently
Diagnose electrical and mechanical mining equipment issues
Hold a valid driver’s license and travel as required
Bring Red Seal certification, mining equipment troubleshooting, and Automation maintenance skills to Sandvik’s Saskatchewan field service team.
