Accounts Payable Team Supervisor

Lead accounts payable operations at Acuren from the Sherwood Park office, supervising teams and strengthening invoice, payment, and vendor processes.
Reporting to the Shared Services Finance Manager, this supervisor supports accurate, timely financial transactions and efficient operations. The role combines staff leadership, accounting compliance, process improvement, and vendor issue resolution. It requires five years of accounts payable experience and at least one year in leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the accounts payable team
Develop invoice processing and payment disbursement processes
Monitor metrics and identify optimization opportunities
Resolve vendor issues and maintain professional relationships
Coach staff and manage workloads, coverage, and performance
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Minimum five years of accounts payable experience
At least one year in leadership or supervision
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office
Strong accounting principles and communication skills
