Mechanical Construction Project Manager
Black & McDonald
Lead mechanical construction projects with scheduling, cost control, and safety expertise at Black & McDonald’s Special Projects team. Work on site while reporting directly to the Division Manager.
This Project Manager oversees assigned projects from start to finish, following schedules, specifications, and budgets. The work emphasizes planning, quality, estimating, reporting, and change management. You will coordinate stakeholders and support contract performance across mechanical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects across cost, schedule, quality, safety, and contracts
Plan, monitor, and manage construction schedules and milestones
Report progress, productivity, budgets, costs, and forecasts
Prepare estimates and negotiate scope changes
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and contract requirements
Requirements:
Five-plus years of mechanical project management experience
Infrastructure project experience up to two million dollars
Post-secondary education in engineering, construction, or project management
Experience with chillers, boilers, and cooling towers
One to two years of ICI or tenant mechanical estimating
Bring mechanical project leadership, construction scheduling, estimating, and cost management experience to Black & McDonald’s Special Projects team.
