Manager Actuarial Specialty Lines

Lead pan-Canadian Specialty Lines actuarial work at Intact through technical expertise, team coaching, and a hybrid work model.
As Manager, Actuarial, you will oversee operational deliverables for sophisticated commercial insurance products across 18 business lines. You will guide analysts, advise on product rating, reserves, and financial projections, and support strategic objectives. The position requires strong actuarial techniques, communication, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure quality of actuarial operational deliverables
Plan work and oversee day-to-day team operations
Analyze reports and formulate product recommendations
Coach group members toward strategic objectives
Provide technical advice on actuarial studies
Requirements:
University degree in mathematics or actuarial science
Minimum seven years of experience
Two years in management or coaching significantly beneficial
Strong technical knowledge of actuarial techniques
FCAS or FCIA designation an asset
