Architect CN's next-generation cloud data solutions from Montreal, combining Azure, Google Cloud Platform, analytics, and engineering knowledge.
This position leads delivery of complex distributed systems within CN Data Services and contributes to continuous improvement objectives. You will balance vision with practicality while defining platforms, products, standards, and technology directions. CN's hybrid model applies, with minimal travel up to 10 percent.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead delivery of cloud data platform initiatives
Evaluate current and emerging technologies
Design data lakehouse and warehouse architectures
Resolve platform total cost and return considerations
Foster design thinking, efficiency, and practical decision-making
Requirements:
At least 12 years across applications, data, and cloud
At least five years in technology architecture
At least three years as a senior cloud architect
Strong data and analytics architecture knowledge
Knowledge of DevOps, artificial intelligence, and machine learning technologies
Apply cloud data platform, analytics, and architecture leadership to deliver scalable solutions supporting CN's technology direction.
