Project Finance Loan Structuring Analyst

Apply financial modelling and credit analysis as an On-Site Analyst with National Bank of Canada Capital Markets in Calgary, Toronto, or Montreal. Support syndicated loan transactions across Canada and the United States.
As an Analyst in the Loan Structuring and Syndication team, you will support origination, syndication, and financial close. The Project Finance and Infrastructure team covers renewable energy, energy infrastructure, digital infrastructure, and general infrastructure. Your work will combine quantitative analysis, transaction preparation, lender coordination, and loan structuring.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct financial modelling and comparable transaction analysis
Prepare pitch books and client marketing materials
Support lender outreach and syndication across Canadian and U.S. markets
Manage virtual data rooms and facilitate lender questions
Maintain comparable transactions and league table databases
Requirements:
Strong interest in finance, credit, and lending
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
Understanding of financial transactions and associated risks
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel and PowerPoint
English fluency; Montreal requires French-English bilingualism
Build loan structuring expertise through project finance, financial modelling, credit analysis, and syndicated lending at NBCCM.
