Ideal candidates will have two years of experience in clerical ophthalmology roles, proficient skills in visual field testing, ocular pharmacology, and physician billing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate patient comfort and communication
• Conduct ocular motility and visual field tests
• Manage physician billing and administrative tasks
• Utilize Novari/Accuro EMR systems effectively
• Prioritize activities within a busy clinic environment
Requirements:
• Minimum two years’ clerical ophthalmology experience
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or equivalent certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in medical terminology, especially ophthalmic
• Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary team
