Quality Control Product Inspector
Simplot
Product Inspector in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, focusing on foreign material removal and finished product quality. Work at Simplot Canada’s GF Plant.
This Product Inspector role supports inspection and quality control for finished products. You will react to sudden quality changes, communicate issues, and dispose of products failing customer expectations. The position also requires sanitation, area maintenance, safety compliance, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and remove foreign material from finished products
Dispose of products failing customer expectations
Communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel
Sanitize personal protective equipment and follow hygiene policies
Maintain a clean, organized inspection area
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum six months related experience and/or training
Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good safety and attendance record
