This Lead Fleet Vehicle Maintenance Technician provides technical leadership for vehicle fleets and ground support equipment. The position guides senior technicians, technicians, and trainees while ensuring work follows OSHA and DOT standards. Duties include repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and other assigned responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead safe, efficient fleet maintenance at repair facilities
Repair and maintain vehicles and ground support equipment
Ensure technicians follow OSHA and DOT standards
Guide senior technicians, technicians, and trainees
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Automotive Service Technician or Truck & Coach Technician qualification
Completed vehicle apprentice program with certified diploma
Three years fleet experience plus one senior technician year
Valid provincial driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to work shifts and lift 50 pounds
Apply fleet maintenance leadership, repair expertise, and safety knowledge to support FedEx vehicles and ground equipment.
