High-accuracy mechanical takeoffs and document control anchor this Estimating Coordinator role supporting a process-driven contractor in New Westminster, British Columbia.
Work behind the scenes with the Chief Estimator in a high-volume bid environment. Handle HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical scopes from Canadian drawings and specifications. Your work will protect data integrity, maintain repeatable workflows, and support complete tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate HVAC and plumbing quantity takeoffs
Enter supplier details into internal spreadsheets
Organize tender files and maintain version control
Log RFIs and support document tracking
Finalize bid packages before closing deadlines
Requirements:
One to two-plus construction tender administration years
Mechanical experience considered a strong asset
Advanced Excel formulas and data organization skills
Comfort using PDF markup tools
Independent, methodical, and accuracy-focused work style
Bring disciplined takeoff, quote management, and tender documentation skills to a structured mechanical estimating function.
