Mental Health Program Coordinator
Coast Mental Health
Support mental health programs with Coast Mental Health in Vancouver, using psychosocial rehabilitation and client management skills. Monday to Friday, 0900-1700.
As Program Coordinator, you will assist daily program operations, maintenance, development, implementation, and evaluation. You will supervise staff, manage referrals and vacancies, and support clients living with mental illness. The position applies psychosocial rehabilitation principles while coordinating services that promote independent living, community access, and chosen lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and evaluate mental health programs
Supervise staff and support effective program service delivery
Manage referrals, vacancies, administrative tasks, and program safety
Provide on-site support and skills training to clients
Liaise with caregivers, physicians, and case managers
Requirements:
BA or diploma in mental health or related field
Three years’ mental health setting experience, including supervisory experience
One year of program development and evaluation experience
Emergency First Aid, FoodSafe, WHMIS, TB, and medical clearances
Class 5 driver’s license and access to a vehicle
