Application Engineering Specialist II

Shape engineered electrical solutions at G&W Electric through application engineering, equipment selection, and customer-focused technical support. Work within the Inside Sales Team.
As an Application Engineering Specialist II, you will review customer requirements, interpret engineering specifications, and prepare quotations. You will select G&W equipment, develop cost models, and communicate technical and commercial details. The position supports customers, suppliers, consultants, outside sales, Engineering, Product Management, and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Document technical and commercial application requirements
Interpret specifications and select appropriate G&W equipment
Prepare quotations and bids for engineered packages
Address technical and commercial customer inquiries
Support sales teams, consultants, customers, and cross-functional projects
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical
Three to five years’ application engineering or inside sales experience
Customer interaction and quotation preparation experience
Proficiency with the full Microsoft Office Suite
Switchgear design, JDE, or Salesforce experience is an asset
Use application engineering, equipment selection, quotations, and communication skills to support G&W Electric’s electrical power solutions.
