Accounting and Audit Associate
MNP
Develop accounting and audit expertise while supporting MNP clients through assurance engagements, tax work, and financial reporting. This full-time Accountant role offers varied work.
You will serve within MNP’s Canadian Assurance & Accounting team, building technical capability across client files and financial processes. Responsibilities include walkthroughs, account setup, audit evidence, reporting, and engagement communication. The work supports tailored information for client decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform receivable, payable, payroll, and capital asset walkthroughs
Establish charts of accounts and prepare posting entries
Assess evidence for revenues, expenses, and asset additions
Summarize financial status through relevant reports
Maintain client relationships and engagement collaboration
Requirements:
Commerce or business administration degree completion or progress
Accounting or finance major preferred
CPA PEP prerequisites completed or in progress
Previous accounting-related office experience considered an asset
Flexibility to travel as necessary
Strengthen audit, accounting, tax, and client relationship skills while contributing to MNP’s assurance and financial reporting work.
