Within the FP&A team, the Finance Data Analyst manages reporting data, supports month-end processes, and maintains reliable financial information. You will prepare recurring reports, update performance metrics, and reconcile adjustments to the General Ledger. The role also includes process improvement and stakeholder support.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update reports covering trends and key metrics
Support month-end data preparation and reporting activities
Reconcile reporting adjustments with General Ledger records
Answer data update and issue resolution questions
Identify reporting and data quality improvements
Requirements:
Two-plus years of relevant financial or data analytics experience
Advanced Excel for data manipulation and analysis
Power Query and Power Pivot reporting experience
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to manage tight month-end timelines
Bring financial reporting, Excel analysis, and reconciliation experience to Canada Life’s FP&A operations in Kitchener, Ontario.
