Practice high-acuity emergency medicine at Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, with complex medical and trauma presentations. Permanent positions are available.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority seeks Emergency Medicine Physicians for its North East Area team. Physicians practice across a wide emergency medicine scope while supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. The University of Saskatchewan-affiliated teaching site also offers opportunities to teach medical students and residents from across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency medicine care at Victoria Hospital
Manage complex medical presentations and trauma
Teach and mentor medical students and residents
Balance clinical care, teaching, and professional growth
Requirements:
CCFP-EM, FRCPC-EM, or ABEM certification or eligibility
CPSS regular or provisional license, or eligibility
ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and NRP certification
Valid driver’s license and current CMPA coverage
Successful SHA credentialing, references, and vulnerable-sector check
Bring emergency medicine expertise, trauma capability, and teaching interest to Victoria Hospital’s expanding clinical environment.
