Own technical SEO remotely for Blacksmith Agency, using audits and strategy to improve search visibility for B2B and growing-brand clients.
As an SEO Account Strategist, you lead search strategy across a client portfolio. You set technical roadmaps, prioritize content, and explain ranking changes. Writers and AI produce drafts while you guide keyword strategy and on-page optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and architecture
Set keyword strategy and on-page optimization priorities
Guide content priorities with writers and AI
Report through GA4 and Search Console
Build quarterly client roadmaps and explain ranking changes
Requirements:
Three-plus years of hands-on SEO experience
Experience running audits and implementing fixes yourself
Fluency with Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog
Ahrefs or Semrush experience
Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
