Level 2 Accident Claims Adjuster
The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group
Use claims negotiation and dispute resolution skills remotely while managing moderate to complex Accident Benefits files for The Commonwell.
As a Level 2 Claims Specialist, you will assess losses, determine benefit entitlement, and resolve claims effectively. The position requires knowledge of Ontario regulations, policy coverage, medical terminology, and financial exposures. You will also mentor Level 1 Claims and Claims Support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage moderate to complex Accident Benefits claims
Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes
Assess reserves, exposures, and benefit entitlement
Review OAP and OPCF policy wordings
Mentor Level 1 Claims and Claims Support staff
Requirements:
Three to five years of insurance experience preferred in claims
Knowledge of Ontario SABS, Insurance Act, and WSIB
Ability to interpret medical terminology and prognosis
Strong organization, multitasking, and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet navigation
