Key Responsibilities:
Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related equipment
Review blueprints and calculate cutting or boring locations
Shape steel, aluminum, titanium, plastic, silicon, and other materials
Monitor cutting accuracy, speed, feed rate, lubrication, and temperature
Write basic programs and modify them when problems arise
Requirements:
Good math skills
At least three years of similar experience
Ability to use manual and computer-controlled machinery
Ability to select tools and materials for jobs
Ability to check work against specifications
