Toolroom Lead Tool Die Maker

Lead Magna Exteriors toolroom operations using advanced tool and die making, robotics, and production troubleshooting expertise. Support automotive manufacturing through dependable tooling.
The Toolroom Lead oversees daily toolroom operations and supervises Tool and Die, Mould Makers, and Apprentices. This regular, permanent position coordinates activities, supports production, and maintains safety and quality compliance. Work includes Fanuc and collaborative robot programming, setup, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate Tool and Die and Mould Maker activities
Schedule toolroom work and support production troubleshooting
Construct, repair, and validate tooling to specifications
Operate machine tools and cranes for tooling work
Perform inspections, investigations, and safety corrections
Requirements:
Qualified Tool and Die Maker with completed four-year apprenticeship
Eight-plus years of tool and die making experience
One to two years of group leadership experience preferred
Hands-on Fanuc and collaborative robot programming experience
Automotive trim manufacturing experience preferred
