Deliver virtual investment advice from Toronto using phone, video, email, and digital channels in Alterna’s hybrid Wealth Desk. Manage member relationships.
The Virtual Advisor, Wealth Desk manages smaller, less complex investment relationships, generally under $100,000 in investable assets. You will provide portfolio reviews, account maintenance support, and member service aligned with goals and circumstances. The position also supports retention, referrals, consolidation opportunities, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned investment relationships generally under $100,000
Deliver advice through phone, video, email, and digital channels
Complete portfolio reviews and follow-up activities
Identify consolidation and additional investment opportunities
Refer complex needs to appropriate Wealth professionals
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in business, finance, commerce, or economics
Mutual fund licensing through IFIC, CIFC, or CSC
One to two years’ financial services or advisory experience
Knowledge of investment products and suitability requirements
Strong communication, organization, and member service skills
