Lead residential program operations with The Salvation Army, supervising staff and supporting adult men experiencing homelessness, addiction, or mental illness.
The Assistant Manager, Community Residential Facility, supports the ARC Program Manager across operational areas. This supervisory position promotes dignity, respect, safety, and a welcoming environment for program participants, staff, visitors, and agencies. Experience with marginalized populations is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Manager through ARC operational areas
Supervise ARC Support Workers and review documentation
Coordinate training, orientation, recruitment, and staffing support
Maintain schedules, statistics, timekeeping, billing, and files
Monitor safety procedures and provide calming intervention
Requirements:

BA in human and social services or equivalent experience
Two to five years of leadership or supervisory experience
Knowledge of criminal justice, mental illness, and addiction issues
Class 5 Driver’s License and required security clearances
Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Apply supervisory leadership, crisis awareness, and administrative skills while supporting dignity-centered ARC residential services.
