Emergency Registered Nurse Winnipeg

Support emergency nursing at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg through bilingual communication, critical thinking, and patient-centred care. Emergency Nursing Orientation participation is full-time.
This Registered Nurse position serves the Winnipeg Health Region’s integrated network of health care sites and services. Candidates require an approved nursing education program, CRNM registration, and Healthcare Provider CPR training. Knowledge of nursing standards, legislation, delegation, and clinical care is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize care for individual or groups of patients
Respond to simultaneous demands and changing situations
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Perform independently and as part of healthcare teams
Participate full-time in Emergency Nursing Orientation training
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
Maintain registration and provide proof with CRNM
Understand and speak English and French proficiently
Complete Healthcare Provider-level CPR training
Manage moderate to heavy physical effort
Bring bilingual communication, emergency orientation participation, and registered nursing expertise to St. Boniface Hospital’s care team.
