Technical troubleshooting and customer support define this Security Technician Service Specialist opportunity with Convergint in Edmonton, AB.
As a Security Technician, you will support existing customers and installed systems that may be moderately complex. Your work covers Fire, Security, and Building Automation Systems, including service calls, maintenance, repairs, and small projects. The position also involves technical assistance and systems checkout for new and existing installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve service call problems, including emergencies
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug installed systems
Complete repairs, replacements, maintenance, and small installations
Provide technical support and solutions to customers
Prepare detailed service reports for invoicing and job tracking
Requirements:
Minimum two years of relevant field service experience
Solid technical skills with security, fire, or automation systems
Solid programming and troubleshooting skills
Exceptional customer focus and pressure management
Electronics diploma or relevant trade experience preferred
