Richmond, BC offers a seven-month Corporate Accountant contract covering full-cycle accounting, close processes, and financial statement preparation. Bring practical experience.
This Corporate Accountant works closely with the business for a successful mid-size entrepreneurial client. Reporting to the parent company’s Director of Finance, you will oversee established accounting operations while identifying automation opportunities. The work also includes profitability analysis, inventory counts, payroll, and cash flow forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the full accounting process from AP through AR
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare financial statements at period end
Analyze profitability and participate in inventory counts
Support payroll and cash flow forecasting
Requirements:
Several years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience
Manufacturing or food services experience is an asset
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Passion for automation and process improvement
Ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders
Use full-cycle accounting, close management, and stakeholder communication skills across a varied Richmond, BC contract assignment.
