Teach Primary/Junior Prep at Parry Sound Public School using Apple technology and responsive support for varied learners. This LTO assignment is in person.
The Near North District School Board seeks a Long Term Occasional teacher from immediate start through June 30, 2026, or early teacher return. The assignment requires Primary/Junior qualifications, curriculum knowledge, and experience supporting literacy and numeracy schoolwide. You will document and evaluate student work through technology while communicating with guardians through EDSBY.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Primary/Junior Prep students at Parry Sound Public School
Support varied learners, including at risk students
Support literacy and numeracy from a whole school perspective
Integrate technology when documenting and evaluating student work
Use EDSBY for learning support and guardian communication
Requirements:
Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certification of Registration
Primary/Junior teaching qualifications
Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
Effective school teamwork and communication abilities
