Clinical Genomics Medical Technical Officer

As a Medical Technical Officer, you will work in the Clinical Genomics department at the Centre for Molecular Pathology. The role covers clinical scientific and technical work, quality systems, equipment, and staff responsibilities. You will support molecular diagnostics and cytogenetics services for solid tumours and haematological malignancies.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform PCR, RQ-PCR, ddPCR, NGS, and fragment analysis
Deliver timely core and technologically complex diagnostic services
Monitor quality control across all performed tests
Prepare standard operating procedures and technical documentation
Work rotationally across all department areas
Requirements:
Good interpersonal skills and committed team membership
Responsibility for clinical scientific and technical work
Ability to follow standing operational procedures and policies
Ability to meet clinical requests and testing priorities
Ability to oversee technical and analytical work quality
