Active Living Program Manager

Active Living Managers at Cogir Senior Living develop recreation programs while assessing residents’ needs and promoting holistic well-being through meaningful activities.
This leadership role supports retirement residences offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care. You will create engaging programs, coordinate events, evaluate offerings, and motivate teams. Strong communication, organization, creativity, and management skills are central to success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess residents’ needs and develop meaningful active living programs
Create monthly calendars and newsletters for residents
Schedule events and live entertainment activities
Evaluate and improve program choices and offerings
Grow and evaluate an active volunteer program
Requirements:
Minimum two years’ recreation or active living experience
One year’s leadership experience with mature adults and seniors
Two-year post-secondary education in a related field
Current CPR and first aid certification
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Bring creativity, leadership, and recreation expertise to Cogir Senior Living while enhancing residents’ wellness, connection, and happiness.
