Regulatory Oversight Technical Lead Ontario

Support Ontario’s financial-services oversight with FSRA as a Technical Lead skilled in regulatory analysis, stakeholder advice, and compliance supervision.
This fixed-term position serves as a technical resource for complex matters involving licensed entities and regulated sectors. You will collaborate across FSRA, support consultations and executive briefings, and contribute evidence-based recommendations on industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory change. Mortgage brokerage knowledge is among the relevant sector qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects monitoring regulatory compliance in assigned sectors
Support consultations and communicate regulatory expectations
Prepare reports, trend analyses, briefings, and policy recommendations
Provide technical advice on operational and sector-specific issues
Collaborate on supervisory policies, guidance, and regulatory initiatives
Requirements:
University education in a relevant discipline
Three or more years’ compliance, audit, or related experience
Three or more years’ sector knowledge or experience
Understanding of business models and regulatory frameworks
Leadership, teamwork, coaching, and consensus-building capabilities
Use sector expertise, communication skills, and regulatory insight to advance FSRA supervisory initiatives and informed consumer-protection decisions.
