Full-Time Obstetrician Gynecologist Duncan

Practise full-time obstetrics and gynecology in Duncan with Island Health, supported by minimally invasive surgery interest and home call.
Island Health seeks an Obstetrician/Gynecologist for Cowichan District Hospital. The practice serves a community of 90,000 through approximately 550 annual deliveries. You will provide consultative obstetrical services alongside family physicians and midwives, with two to three operating-room days weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full-time obstetrical and gynecological care
Deliver consultative obstetrical services to family physicians
Collaborate with midwives across the Cowichan Valley
Participate in home call approximately one week in five
Perform minimally invasive surgery as clinically appropriate
Requirements:
FRCSC certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Full British Columbia licensure in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Eligibility with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
Interest in minimally invasive surgery
Availability for permanent full-time specialty practice
